What is Mash Care?
Mash Care is an online platform that connects families with independent workers, including babysitters, tutors, and aged care support, in a simple and transparent way.
Are workers verified? Do I need qualifications to work?
All workers on Mash Care are verified.
- Babysitters: Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Tutors: WWCC and preferably a qualification in their chosen subjects.
- Aged Care Support: First Aid and CPR
certificates are mandatory, along with a Police Check or WWCC. Workers must also hold a relevant qualification, such as one of;
Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Ageing Support, Diploma of Nursing, or Bachelor of Nursing.
Is Mash Care registered with ‘My Aged Care’ or ‘NDIS’?
Mash Care is not a registered NDIS or My Aged Care provider and does not manage government-funded services or funds. All workers are independent.
Why is Mash Care different?
Mash Care was built to be fairer, more transparent, and affordable, empowering workers and families with choice, flexibility, and control.
How are payments handled?
Payments are handled directly between workers and families via BSB and account number or cash. The payment method is agreed upon when making the booking. Mash Care does not take any commission.
What if there’s an issue or dispute?
Mash Care provides clear reporting and dispute processes, with a dedicated support team to help families resolve concerns.
